In our busy, hectic lives we hardly get time to switch off and just take a breath. Deep breathing slows the heart rate, stabilises blood pressure and helps to reduce stress. With this is mind I have spaced the images out in this meditation to help slow your breathing down, so simple a young person can do this.
We physically tend to hold onto stress without being aware of it so now, release your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and remove your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
The easiest breathing exercise to start with is to breathe in slowly through your nose for the count of 5 and exhale through your mouth for the count of 5. Take a few minutes for yourself - you deserve it!
Now totally unwind for six minutes with this 7 chakra-balancing meditation. I have personally created this with a simple message under each image. Sit back, slowly take a deep breath, count to 5, relax and enjoy.
